The Tyndall Centre is always keen to encourage collaboration and open dialogue on climate change issues with stakeholders - be they government, business leaders, policy advisors, NGO's, agencies, members of the media or the public in general.
We believe a high level of engagement and good communications with these key groups are fundamental components of our multidisciplinary and interactive research. By collaborating in this way, we all stand to gain a better understanding of the problems faced and the scope for taking action... After all, how can we hope to develop an effective and realisable response to climate change without working together closely?
The Tyndall Centre already has working links with several stakeholder organisations. Why not follow their example by becoming involved with the Centre?
If you or your organisation are interested in exploring climate change and the actions that can be taken in response to the challenges we face, the Tyndall Centre can help in several ways:
- You can attend the Tyndall Centre's regular workshop, seminar and training events.
- If you represent a commercial organisation, you could contact our Communications and Centre Manager, Asher Minns to see how your business can engage with the Tyndall Centre's research activities.
- If you are interested in commissioning the Tyndall Centre to do some research on a climate change topic of particular relevance to your organisation please contact Asher Minns to discuss the matter further.
- You can co-sponsor a Tyndall Visiting Fellow, Tyndall PhD Researcher to do some research at the Centre, or support someone through the Tyndall Centre's four week training course on Responding to Climate Change.
- You can join Cred, the regional Community Carbon Reduction Project based at UEA and inspired by the philosophy of the Tyndall Centre.
