Symposium in Climate Change Adaptation, Water management and Human Security - Addis Ababa

Anita Milman and Marisa Goulden (Tyndall Centre, UEA), with colleagues from Addis Ababa University and Ecologic Institute, Germany held a public symposium on Climate Change Adaptation, Water Management and Human Security in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Friday 28 October 2011, as part of the EU FP7 CLICO project. The event was attended by 70 participants in the morning and followed by a round-table discussion with policy experts, led by Ecologic Institute in the afternoon.

Anita and Marisa also held a one-day workshop on 19 October using scenarios analysis for discussing adaptation options with policy makers and experts in the region of Gambella, Ethiopia, as part of the Nile Baro-Akobo basin case study of the CLICO project.
