Role at Tyndall: Thomas Roberts is an environmental sociologist working at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. He specialises in developing techniques for assessing public perceptions of new technologies and environmental policy. He is currently studying public perception of CCS. The research is being conducted as part of a larger, multi-partner consortium project, CO2 Aquifer Storage Site Evaluation and Monitoring (CASSEM), exploring storage of CO2 in saline aquifers. In addition he has recently completed a PhD at The Department of Geography, University Collage London which explored public perceptions of marine conservation policy in the UK.
