After seven years working as a software engineer in the private sector, I changed course and returned to university to study an MSc in Climate Change at the UEA. This led to a PhD project developing data interpolation techniques for estimating surface ocean carbon dioxide levels where measurements are not available.
My future work will concentrate on developing methods to quantify the oceanic carbon sink utilising both model output and observational data.
