Role at Tyndall: Marisa is a Lecturer in Climate Change, researching and teaching on topics related to adaptation to environmental change and international development, water security and management of water resources, livelihoods and resilience.
Research Interests: Current research: climate change, human security and conflict; adaptation and resilience to climate change; water resource management institutions; impacts of climate change on human and water security in internationally shared river basins (River Nile and River Niger).
Marisa's PhD: Livelihood diversification, social capital and resilience to climate variability amongst natural resource dependent societies in Uganda.
