Research Interests: Current research: climate change, human security and conflict; adaptation and resilience to climate change; water resource management institutions; impacts of climate change on human and water security in internationally shared river basins (River Nile and River Niger). Marisa's PhD: Livelihood diversification, social capital and resilience to climate variability amongst natural resource dependent societies in Uganda.
